Redefining Treatment, Restoring Freedom

Where Rare Disease Therapies take Flight

Our Mission

Redefining Cancer and Rare Disease Therapy

Quetzal Tx Logo

Quetzal Therapeutics is a clinical-stage company developing a pipeline of potentially best-in-class therapies aimed at transforming the standard of care for patients living with rare diseases. We are pioneering a new paradigm in the treatment of rare hematologic malignancies and other underserved conditions.

Our lead candidate, QTX-2101, targets acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) with a novel approach designed to improve patient outcomes.

Leveraging proprietary delivery technologies and optimized formulations, we are advancing a robust pipeline of additional programs—each focused on addressing significant unmet clinical needs.

Transforming the Rare Disease Patient Journey

We are committed to developing therapies that address the unmet needs of patients living with rare hematologic malignancies and other rare conditions.

QTX-2101

Actively recruiting for our Phase III clinical trial

Oral therapy for Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL)

Our lead therapeutic candidate, QTX-2101, targets APL with the goal of addressing treatment burden.

*QTX2101 is an investigational product and has not been approved by the FDA

Current standard of care treatment for APL calls for oral ATRA plus IV arsenic trioxide infusion therapy that can require up to 180 visits to a specialized center within one year, with each visit lasting multiple hours.

QTX-2101 is an oral formulation of arsenic trioxide designed for oral administration at home, freeing patients to return to normal daily activities while receiving therapy.

QTX-2102

Next-generation antifungal and antiparasitic therapy

QTX-2102 is our preclinical candidate for treatment of rare infectious disease.

As microbial pathogens emerge and evolve, new therapeutics are needed to combat infection with speed and precision. We are developing a novel antifungal and antiparasitic therapeutic candidate, QTX-2102, designed to enhance efficacy while minimizing toxicity.

Restoring Patient Autonomy Through Scientific Innovation

We believe in the power of science to address unmet needs and free patients from the burdens of living with a rare condition. To that end, we take a stability-first approach to treatment design, applying proprietary oral formulation engineering to known effective compounds, reducing risk while maximizing market disruption.

Science-driven

Embracing cutting-edge science and innovation to deliver breakthrough therapies that improve patients' lives.

Accessible

Lowering the barrier to access through formulation of stable medicines capable of reaching patients anywhere.

Patient-friendly

Freeing patients from the inconveniences and economic impacts that come with centralized care, enabling them to resume routine activities without compromising clinical outcomes.
