Contractor Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Poland/Romania Territory
Haematology / Oncology – Phase 3 Clinical Trial Support
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced contractor Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support a multinational Phase 3 haematology/oncology clinical trial across Poland and Romania. This role will focus on scientific engagement with investigators and referral centres, supporting operational trial delivery and scientific exchange within a compliant framework.
The successful candidate will be highly self-sufficient, comfortable operating across multiple territories, and capable of building strong scientific relationships within the regional haematology community.
Territory Coverage
Primary territories:
- Poland
- Romania
Travel within the assigned territory and attendance at relevant scientific meetings/congresses will be required.
Time in Field
Approximately 70–80% field-based activity expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scientific relationships with investigators, referral centres, and healthcare professionals
- Support scientific exchange related to an ongoing Phase 3 haematology clinical trial
- Support trial awareness and operational engagement activities within assigned territories
- Identify recruitment challenges, referral pathway barriers, and field insights relevant to trial delivery
- Deliver scientific discussions in a compliant, non-promotional manner
- Support congress engagement and investigator meetings where required
- Ensure timely adverse event reporting and compliance with applicable pharmacovigilance and GCP requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific or healthcare degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc or equivalent)
- Prior experience as a field-based MSL within oncology or haematology
- Excellent scientific communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently across geographically distributed territories
- Experience engaging academic investigators and treatment centres
- Strong understanding of GCP, pharmacovigilance, and compliance requirements
- Fluent English
- Experience within Poland and/or Romania is essential
Strongly Preferred
- Polish and/or Romanian language proficiency strongly preferred
- Prior experience in haematology and/or rare cancers
- Experience supporting Phase 2 or Phase 3 clinical trials
- Experience supporting recruitment or referral engagement initiatives
- Existing relationships within regional haematology centres
- Experience operating across multinational Eastern European territories
